The Broncs topped St. Francis Brooklyn, 71-70, in overtime last time out.
Makayla Firebaugh (Winchester, VA/James Wood) hit a three with 10.2 seconds remaining in the extra session to lift Rider to the victory.

- The Broncs were a part of the inaugural MAAC/ASUN Challenge in 2019, splitting their two games. Stella Johnson had the greatest week of her career during the trip, setting Rider's single-game record with 41 points in a win against Lipscomb, then following up that performance with 39 points against North Florida.

- Rider was picked to finish tied for sixth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Broncs return four starters and all but three members of last year's team.

- Firebaugh was named Preseason Third-Team All-MAAC. The 2020-21 MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year averaged 11.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last season. Her 31 points against Niagara were the most in a single game by any player in the MAAC last season.

- The Broncs finished last season 9-21 with a 7-13 MAAC mark.

- Rider has made the MAAC Semifinals in five of the last six seasons. The Broncs were named MAAC Champions for 2019-20 for the first time in program history.

Raphaela Toussaint (Kingston, Ontario/Lincoln Prep) led the Broncs with five double-doubles last season. She finished the season averaging 10.8 points and a team high 7.4 rebounds. Her 7.4 rebounds per game ranked seventh in the MAAC last season.

Amanda Mobley's (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) seven assists last time out gives her 384 for her career, fourth-most in program history. Next on the list is Stella Johnson '20, who finished with 428.

- The Broncs led the MAAC and ranked 42
nd nationally with an average of 4.2 blocks per game last season.
Anna Ekerstedt (Varberg, Sweden/Marks Gymnasieskola) averaged 1.50 blocks per contest last season. Even with Ekerstedt sidelined due to injury, Rider blocked nine shots against NJIT.

- Nearly two-thirds of
Jessika Schiffer's (Iserlohn, Germany/Deutschhaus Gymnasium Würzburg) shots last season (179-277) came from three-point range. 17 of her 26 shots this season have come from deep.

- Incoming transfer
ToniRenee Blanford (Montclair, NJ/The Patrick School) made her Rider debut Monday, scoring six points and grabbing four boards.

- The Broncs and Ospreys have met just once, during the MAAC/ASUN Challenge in 2019 where the Ospreys won 80-70. One of just four losses for the Broncs that season, the Ospreys shot 51.4% to overcome Stella Johnson's 39-point performance for Rider. This will be Rider's first-ever meeting with Eastern Kentucky.

- The Ospreys are 1-1 on the season, defeating Warner to open the year, before falling at Wisconsin last time out. Lyric Swann leads the Ospreys at 17.0 points per game. Swann, along with her twin sister, Jaelyn, joined the team as transfers this summer.

- The Colonels are 2-1 after falling to Evansville 89-81 to open the year before bouncing back to defeat Appalachian State and Morehead State. Antwainette Walker leads EKU at 22.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game this season. The Marquette transfer has recorded a double-double in all three games this season.
