LOUDONVILLE, NY – Junior
Tamrat Snyder (Gaithersburg, MD Damascus) finished 12
th individually to earn All-MAAC honors and lead the Rider University men's cross country team to a fourth-place finish at the MAAC Championships Saturday at The Crossings at Colonie. The conference championships featured 11 MAAC programs with Iona winning the race with seven top-10 finishes en route to their 32nd straight MAAC crown.
Snyder was the Broncs' top finisher, completing the 8-kilometer course in 24:53.7, good for 12th and finishing with all MAAC honors.
Gobi Thurairajah (Egg Harbor Township, NJ Egg Harbor Township) was next in 16th at 25:04.2 falling just shy of the top 15.
Richie Castaneda (Pennsauken, NJ Camden Catholic) (25:13.4, 18th)
Tehj Rollins (Jersey City, NJ Ferris)(25:35.2, 26th),
Nick Strain (Morristown, NJ Morristown)(25:41.4, 28th),
Noah Taylor (Mohnton, PA Twin Valley)(25:54.0, 32nd), and
Iain Taylor (Mohnton, PA Twin Valley)(26.20.3, 42nd), rounded out the Broncs' top finishers for the 8K course.
