STATEN ISLAND, NY –
Jerome Boyer took two first-place finishes in the 400m and as part of the 4x400 relay team to lead the Rider University men's track and field team at the Wagner College Invitational, in Staten Island New York at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Marques Merriweather also contributed first-place finishes.
Leo Zaccaria took a second-place finish in the 1mile run, finishing in 4:16.48.
Jerome Boyer took home a first-place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 48.42.
Ben Woodward claimed a third-place finish in the 3000m run with a time of 8:30.84, while
Noah Taylor and
Jeremie Garcia took fourth and fifth with times of 8:39.50 and 8:46.61 respectively.
Rider claimed first place in the 4x400 relay thanks to
James Green,
Jerome Boyer,
Freddie Haynesworth, and
Derian Stianche who finished in 3:20.35.
Brian Murphy finished third in the pole vault with a 4.00m, while
Justin Thomas took fourth with a 3.80m.
Jacob Eddinger claimed first in the weight throw with a mark of 17.58m, while
Jakob Morrissey took second with a 16.42m mark.
Brian Murphy took third in the pole vault after finishing with a mark of 4.00m.
Marques Merriweather claimed first place in the high jump with a mark of 2.00m and
Zach Moyer finished second with 1.90m.

" It was a good restart to the indoor season after the holiday break. You never quite know exactly what you are going to get after finals and the holiday break but this group came back strong in many areas.
