LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University men's and women's swimming and diving teams held a Cranberry/White scrimmage Saturday afternoon in the Coppola Pool.
Team White won the event 137-112, winning seven individual events and both relays.
Lucas Racevicius (Watertown, CT/Holy Cross),
David Cooper (Spring, TX/Klein Oak),
Giavanna Lupi (Vineland, NJ/Vineland), and
Paola Carlesso (Caracas, Venezuela/The New School Medellin[Colegio Simon Bolivar]) won the 200-medley relay for Team White with a time of 1:40.80.
Marcas Racevicius (Watertown, CT/Holy Cross) extended White's lead in the men's 1-meter diving event, posting a score of 243.37.
Christian Overton then won the men's 200-free for White.
Cranberry fought back with a win in both the women's and the men's 50-free.
Aleena De Sir (Fredericksburg, VA/Massaponax) touched the wall at 25.31.
Joe Gewartowski (Fort Washington, PA/Upper Dublin) posted a winning time of 21.10.
The comeback continued for Cranberry in the 100-IM.
Kylie McMahon (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's) won the event in 1:02.24.
Lucas Racevicius won the men's 100-IM for White in 51.19.
For Cranberry,
Sean Binning (Annandale, VA/W.T. Woodson) won the 3-meter with a score of 260.62. Cranberry continued to climb back in the women's 100-fly, won by McMahon in 58.93.
Jack Ruggieri (Bellmawr, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) countered for White in the men's 100-fly with a time of 50.11.
Anastasia Aleksandrova (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) had Cranberry's final victory of the day, winning the 100-back in 1:05.75.
Lucas Racevicius won his second individual event, the men's 100-back, in 50.39.
Allison Stewart (Newtown Square, PA/Lower Merion) followed with a victory in the women's 100-breast in 1:08.28. Cooper capped the individual events with a win in the men's 100-breast with a time of 56.39.
Ruggieri,
Bobby Irwin (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East), Lupi, and
Meaghan Keegan (Jersey Shore, PA/Jersey Shore Area) won the final event for White, the 400-free relay, with a time of 3:26.50.
