LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University men's track & field freshman Zach Manorowitz (Pennsville, NJ/Pennsville) has qualified for NCAA East Preliminary Championships in the long jump, the NCAA today announced. Manorowitz's 7.44m jump at MAAC Championships helped punch his ticket. The 2021 NCAA East Preliminary Championships are slated for next Thursday through Saturday in Jacksonville, FL.

Manorowitz finished second in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump (13.83m) at MAAC Championships to earn Men's Field Rookie of the Meet. Manorowitz earned MAAC Field Performer of the Week on April 8 after winning the long jump at the Rider 5 Way.
