With the loss, the Broncs fall to 1-1-2, while the Hawks are now 2-1-1.

Following a scoreless first half, Monmouth got a pair of goals from Maddison Perna in the 53rd and 69th minutes to take a 2-0 lead. Monmouth initially cleared a Rider corner kick in the 86th minute, but the ball was played back into the box by Cameron Santers (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills), finding Rodrigues for the score from 10 yards out. But the Broncs couldn't find the equalizer in the final four-plus minutes.
