LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University men's soccer sophomore Matt Araujo (Fords, NJ/Saint Joseph) has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office today announced.

Araujo scored the Broncs' first goal of the season just over two minutes into regulation Thursday against Siena and it held up for a 1-0 win. As a true freshman in 2019, he scored a goal and added two assists.

The Broncs return to action Thursday, when they play host to defending MAAC Champion Iona. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. on Ben Cohen Field.
