What You Need To Know
- Both of this weekend's matches will be stream lived on BroncVision.
- The Broncs reached the main draw of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1994 last season.
- Rider has won six straight, including a three-set sweep of Manhattan last time out. Morgan Romano (Oviedo, FL/Hagerty) led the Broncs with 17 kills and 13 digs in the match.
- Romano is averaging 4.92 kills per set in conference play, second most in the MAAC. She is leading the MAAC with 15 aces against league competition.
- Anilee Sher (Poughkeepsie, NY/Spackenkill) has compiled 3,316 career assists, the most in program history. Sher tied the Broncs' record on the final point of the victory over Quinnipiac, before breaking the record against Iona. Her 1,136 assists in 2019 are the second-most in a single season for the Broncs.
- Sher ranks second in the MAAC with an average of 11.04 assists per set against league opponents.
- In addition to Romano, Jillian Chan (Watchung, NJ/Watchung Hills Regional) ranks ninth in the MAAC in kills per set in conference matches.
- Kerrigan Casper (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) continues to lead the MAAC with an average of 1.44 blocks per set in MAAC play.
- Emma Notarfrancesco (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg Area Senior) tied a career-high with 11 digs in the win over Siena.
- Jordan Taylor (Wellington, FL/Wellington) had a career-high five kills off the bench in the win over Marist.
- Caprice Clarke (Toronto, Canada/Blythe Academy [Yorkville]) set a career-high with nine blocks against Marist.
- Rider leads the all-time series against the Bobcats 11-10, including a four-set win in Hamden earlier this season. Tori Schrader (Grantville, PA/Lower Dauphin) had career-highs with 16 kills and eight digs in the match.
- Fairfield leads the all-time series against Rider 37-5 including a win earlier this season. The Stags won the match in three sets, 29-27, 25-20, 25-22. Since that match neither team has lost.
- Fairfield's KJ Johnson leads the MAAC with an average of 5.94 kills per set in league play, and Manuela Nicolini leads the conference with 13.18 assists per set in MAAC matches.
- The Bobcat's Nicole Legg leads the league with a .479 hitting percentage in MAAC play.
