- The Peacocks enter Thursday evening's contest with a 5-14 overall record and a 2-8 mark in MAAC play after falling on the road to Manhattan, 68-64, on Saturday. Saint Peter's has dropped back-to-back games and seven on its last eight games. Entering the week, the Peacocks rank second in the MAAC in scoring offense at 73.2 points per game. The potent SPU offensive attack sees four-players averaging in double figures. Talah Thornton paces the Peacock attack with over 14 points per game, while Kendrea Williams, Gabrielle Harris and Briyanah Richardson are all scoring over 10 points per game as well.

- Saint Peter's leads the all-time series with Rider, 44-23. However, the Broncs have had the edge of late, winning eight straight meetings. Last year, Rider swept the regular-season series with SPU, winning each game by at least 20 points. Under Lynn Milligan, Rider is 17-11 versus the Peacocks. The 17 wins are her most against any MAAC opponent.

- Last time out, a strong defensive effort propelled Rider past hOURglass rival Monmouth, 48-25, on Saturday afternoon. Rider held Monmouth to just over 15 percent (8-of-52) shooting in the game en route to a dominate win. The Broncs forced 16 Hawk turnovers and surrendered just one made basket in both the second and fourth quarters. Rider broke open up a nine-point halftime lead thanks to outscoring Monmouth, 17-5, in the third frame.

- Last week, Lynn Milligan became just the second coach in program history to earn 160 wins at the helm of the program. Milligan enters Thursday with 161 wins as Rider's Head Coach. The program record for wins by a Head Coach is 162 by Eldon Price.

- Rider is 17-2 for the first time joining Division I prior to the 1982-83 season. The previous-best 19-game start to a season for the Broncs was in 2016-17 when the squad started 13-6.

- Rider is in the midst of a 14-game winning streak. The 14-game winning streak is a program-record for consecutive wins. Entering the week, Rider is one of four Division I teams with a winning streak of at least 14 games.

- Rider has started MAAC play 10-0 for first time in program history. The previous best nine-game start to MAAC play was 8-2 which the team did in 2018-19. Dating back to last season, the Broncs have won 13 straight regular-season MAAC contests.
