- The Bobcats enter Thursday evening's contest with a 12-11 overall record and a 9-5 mark in MAAC play after defeating Niagara, 71-61, at home last Saturday. The victory over the Purple Eagles snapped a two-game losing streak for Quinnipiac. At home, QU is 5-2 in conference play in 2020. As a team, Quinnipiac leads the MAAC in rebounding (40.0 RPG) and rebounding margin (+3.3). It is a balanced attack for the Bobcats with four players scoring over nine points per game in MAAC play. On the year, Shaq Edwards is leading the team with 13.7 PPG, while Taylor Herd is pouring in 10 points per game. Edwards did not play in the first meeting between the two teams and Herd had a team-high 20 points versus Rider in mid-January.

- Head Coach Lynn Milligan earned her 163rd win at the helm of the program last Saturday at Manhattan. She passed her former coach Eldon Price (162) for the most wins by a head coach in Rider women's basketball history.

- Last time out, Stella Johnson scored a game-high 27 points to lead Rider past Manhattan, 55-50, on Saturday in Riverdale. Rider erased an early deficit and ended the first half on an 11-0 run to take a two-point lead into halftime at 23-21. The Broncs held the Jaspers scoreless over the final six minutes of the second quarter. The Broncs never trailed in the second half and stretched their lead to as many as 10 late in the third following a jumper from Stella.

- Rider had 10 steals in the win at Manhattan on Saturday. It was the team's eighth game with 10 or more thefts this season. A week ago, the Broncs tied a season-high with 12 steals at Siena. Stella Johnson leads the MAAC with 2.9 steals per game this season and she has registered four or more steals in four of her last five games.

- Amari Johnson leads the MAAC with 10.9 rebounds per game this season. Entering the week, she also ranks 14th in all of Division I in rebounding. Amari has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in 17 games this season. In MAAC play, she is pulling down 11 rebounds per contest.
- Following the 64-57 win over Xavier in mid-November, Rider moved into CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll. The Broncs are currently ranked 14th in the poll.

- On February 10, Stella Johnson was named one of 10 candidates for the 2020 Nancy Lieberman Award as announced by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. Stella is the only mid-major player on this list that includes players from the BIG 12, AAC, BIG EAST, Big Ten, Pac 12 and SEC.

- On November 26, Stella Johnson was named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week. It marked the first time in program history that a Bronc was named the USBWA National Player of the Week and also the first time a player from the MAAC picked up the weekly accolade as well. She was the first player in the MAAC to score over 40 points since Victoria Rampado had 41 against Siena in January of 2018.

- Stella Johnson became the first player in program history to earn MAAC Preseason Player of the Year honors. Stella was also a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-MAAC First Team.
