WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- All regular-season home games in 2018-19 will be carried on either ESPN3 or ESPN+. Road games only will be carried on 107.7 The Bronc, including Friday's tilt with Daryl Fein and Steve Rudenstein on the call.

- Rider and Iona are playing for the 49th time in the all-time series history with the Gaels holding a 27-21 advantage. The Broncs have had the edge of late, winning each of the last six meeting thanks to sweeping the regular-season series in each of the last three seasons. Under Head Coach Lynn Milligan, Rider is 12-13 versus Iona. The 12 wins are her third-most against any MAAC opponent. Rider is 1-2 all-time against Iona in the MAAC Tournament. The two teams are playing in the postseason for the first time since 2012 when Iona scored a 61-60 overtime victory in the first round.    

- The Gaels enter Friday's MAAC Championship Quarterfinal contest with a 5-25 overall record after defeating Siena, 75-64, in the first round of the MAAC Championship on Thursday. Iona earned the No. 10 seed in the 2019 MAAC Tournament thanks to posting a 3-15 mark in conference play this season. Freshman guard Juana Camilion was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team earlier this week. In their win on Thursday, three Gaels scored in double figures led by Camilion with 26 points. Versus the Saints, Morgan Rachu knocked down 5-of-7 shots from three-point range.

- Three Rider University women's basketball players earned All-MAAC honors as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Junior guard Stella Johnson was a unanimous selection to the First Team, classmate Amari Johnson earned Second Team honors and senior point guard Lexi Posset landed on the third team. The Broncs had three or more players garner end-of-the-year distinction from the conference for the third year in a row. The three players being named to the All-MAAC teams was tied for tops in the conference along with Marist and Quinnipiac. Stella was the only unanimous selection to the first team.

- Rider has advanced to the MAAC Tournament Semifinals in each of the last three seasons and four times in program history. The Broncs have won each of their last three MAAC Tournament Quarterfinal games. The Broncs first made the league semifinals in 2014.

- Rider is receiving an opening-round by the in the MAAC Tournament for the third year in a row. It also marks the second time in the last three years and the second time in program history that the Broncs will enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed.

- Rider was 14-4 in conference action in 2018-19. The 14 wins are the most for the Broncs in an 18-game league schedule and the second-most all-time in program history. It marks the second time under Head Coach Lynn Milligan and just the second time in program history that the Broncs have won at least 14 MAAC games. Rider is currently 18-11 overall. The 18 wins are the second-most for Rider under Milligan and it's the fourth time in program history that Rider has racked up 18 or more wins in a season.

- The Broncs have won 10 or more MAAC games for the third year in a row and the fourth time under Milligan. It is the second time in program history that the Broncs have stacked three 10-win conference seasons in a row. The other time was from 1992-96 when they played in the NEC. This season marks the second time in program history that Rider has won 14 or more MAAC games in a year.
