WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- All Rider home basketball games will air on ESPN+ or ESPN3, with the exception of the January 9th contest against Quinnipiac that will air on ESPNU.

- The Hoyas enter Saturday's matinee with a record of 2-7 after falling on the road to Fordham, 67-54, last Sunday. Georgetown has dropped three games in a row and the Hoyas are 0-2 at home this season. It is a two-headed attack for the team with both Taylor Barnes and Brianna Jones averaging in double figures. As a team, Georgetown is committing just 12 turnovers a game and the Hoyas have a +3.3 turnover margin. GU is converting on 23 percent (34-of-186) of its shots from three-point range and the squad is shooting 66.7 percent (82-of-123) from the foul line.

- Georgetown has won all six meetings in the series history. Last season's contest was the first between the two squads since 2011. Georgetown has won five of the six games by double figures.

- Georgetown defeated Rider, 79-49, last December in Lawrenceville. In the victory, the Hoyas outscored the Broncs by 14 (23-9) in the second quarter to break open a close contest. Georgetown also ended the game strong by outscoring Rider, 29-17, over the final 12 minutes. The Hoyas return just two starters from last season's game, while the Broncs have four starters back.

- Last time out, three players scored in double figures as Rider raced past visiting La Salle, 70-43, at home last Saturday. Rider opened the game on a 7-0 run over the first three and a half minutes of play and never looked back. The Broncs never trailed in the game and stretched their lead to as many as 27 late in the fourth.

- Stella Johnson nearly recorded her second career triple-double last time out against La Salle. The senior guard finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. Stella also had five steals and two blocks, while committing just one turnover. She played all 40 minutes for the Broncs as Rider remained unbeaten at home this season.

- Rider had three players score in double figures versus La Salle last Saturday. It marked just the second time this season that the Broncs had three players score 10 or more points in a game. Rider is now 2-0 when three or more players register double figures. Stella had a game-high 22 points, while Amari Johnson added 14 and Lea Favre had 12.

- Amari Johnson recorded her second straight double-double last time out against La Salle. Johnson scored 14 and pulled down 11 rebounds. Rider is 2-1 when a player registers a double-double this year. Amari is the only Bronc with a double-double this year. She now has eight career double-doubles.

- Senior Lea Favre made her first start of the year for the Broncs versus the Explorers. After seeing limited minutes in the beginning of the season due to injury, Favre scored 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting last Saturday. She scored in double figures for the first time in 2019-20.

The eight made field goals are the fewest allowed in a game under Head Coach Lynn Milligan and the 16 percent was the lowest the Broncs have held an opponent shooting under Milligan as well.

- On Tuesday, November 26, Stella Johnson was named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week. It marked the first time in program history that a Bronc was named the USBWA National Player of the Week and also the first time a player from the MAAC picked up the weekly accolade as well. She hit 17-of-18 free-throw attempts. Stella also grabbed a season-high eight rebounds to go along with three steals, two blocks and two assists. - Senior Stella Johnson was named to the Women's Citizen Naismith Trophy Watch List as announced by the Atlanta Tipoff Club on November 6th. Johnson is one of 50 players in the nation and just two players from mid-major programs to earn a spot on the list. In late October, Johnson was also named one of 20 watch-list candidates for the 2020 Nancy Lieberman Award as announced by The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). She was also named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Watch List by the USBWA on December 5.
