WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- All Rider home basketball games will air on ESPN+ or ESPN3, with the exception of the January 9th contest against Quinnipiac that will air on ESPNU.

- Rider and North Florida will be playing for the first time ever on Saturday.

- The Ospreys enter Saturday's matinee with a record of 3-3 after falling to Marist, 69-54, on Friday afternoon. North Florida saw its two-game winning streak come to an end at the hand of the Red Foxes. Redshirt junior Jazz Bond was named to the ASUN Preseason All-Conference Team. Bond is one of three Ospreys averaging in double figures this year. It is a balanced attack for North Florida with six players averaging over eight points per game this season. Janesh Green scored a team-high 14 points versus Marist on Friday. As a team, UNF is shooting over 39 percent from the field.

- Last time out, Rider defeated Lipscomb, 81-76, as part of the MAAC/ASUN Challenge. The Broncs erased a 10-point, four-quarter with a 17-3 run. Stella Johnson and Amanda Mobley (18 points) each set new career-highs in scoring. The win was third straight for the Rider.

- Senior guard Stella Johnson set a single-game program record with 41 points in the victory over Lipscomb on Friday. The previous record for points in game by a Bronc was 37 by both MyNeshia McKenzie and Nancy Carroll. Stella scored 18 of her points during the fourth quarter yesterday. She hit 17-of-18 free-throw attempts. Stella also grabbed a season-high eight rebounds to go along with three steals, two blocks and two assists. She was the first player in the MAAC to score over 40 points since Victoria Rampado had 41 against Siena in January of 2018.

- Sophomore guard Amanda Mobley had another strong game running the offense for the Broncs. She had a career-high 18 points to go along with three assists and two steals. Mobley was perfect 6-of-6 from the field and 2-of-2 from three-point range. She also knocked down four free throws, two of which capped the scoring in the win with just over one second remaining in regulation.

- Trailing, 68-58, with five and a half minutes left in the game, Rider went on a 17-3 spurt to take a lead they would not surrender. During the four-minute stretch, the Broncs knocked down 6-of-8 shots from the field and three free throws. On the defensive end, Rider held Lipscomb to 0-for-3 shooting from the field and forced a trio of Bison turnovers.

- Rider was picked to finish third in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. It is the highest the Broncs have been picked to finish in the preseason poll since joining the league. Rider was tabbed fourth in both 2018-19 and 2009-10.

- Stella Johnson became the first player in program history to earn MAAC Preseason Player of the Year honors. Stella was also a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-MAAC First Team. Two other Broncs picked up preseason accolades as senior Amari Johnson landed on the Preseason All-MAAC Second Team and classmate Lea Favre earned Preseason All-MAAC Third Team distinction.

- Senior Stella Johnson was named to the Women's Citizen Naismith Trophy Watch List as announced by the Atlanta Tipoff Club on November 6th. Johnson is one of 50 players in the nation and just two players from mid-major programs to earn a spot on the list. In late October, Johnson was also named one of 20 watch-list candidates for the 2020 Nancy Lieberman Award as announced by The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
