- The Lady Bisons enter Friday's matinee with a record of 1-3 on the year after falling to Murray State, 67-57, on Wednesday night. Lipscomb was picked to finish to seventh in the ASUN Preseason Coaches and Media Poll. On Tuesday, Casey Collier was named the ASUN Freshman of the Week. As a team, the Lady Bisons are shooting over 85 percent (55-of-64) at the free-throw line. In the fourth quarter this year, Lipscomb is being outscored by their opponents, 86-67.

- Rider and Lipscomb will be playing for the first time ever on Friday.

- Last time out, Rider defeated Xavier, 64-57. It marked the first win in a home opener for the Broncs since the 2016-17 campaign. It was Rider's first win under Head Coach Lynn Milligan against a Big East opponent. In the victory, Stella Johnson had a game-high 27 points and Amari Johnson added 12 points and seven rebounds.

- Rider trailed for just one possession (17 seconds of game time) in the win over Xavier on Saturday. The Broncs opened the game on an 11-0 run. Follow a three-pointer from Stella midway through the second quarter, Rider led the rest of the way. Over their last two games, Rider has led for 72:26 out of a possible 80 minutes.

- In Saturday's win over Xavier, Stella Johnson became Rider's all-time leader in steals with 256 in her career. With a steal in the third quarter, she set the program record and she iced the game with a steal on the final possession of the game.

- Rider is outscoring opponents, 46-38, in the first quarter this season. The Broncs have had runs of 11-0 and 17-3 during the first quarter in each of their last two wins. In their last two games, the Broncs are shooting over 48 percent (14-of-29) from the field.

- On Monday, Stella Johnson was named both the MAAC Player of the Week and the College Sports Madness Player of the Week. It marked the second straight week that she has brought home both weekly accolades. Stella currently leads the MAAC and ranks sixth in the country with 24.7 points per game.

- Following the 64-57 win over Xavier on Saturday, Rider moved into CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll. The Broncs are currently ranked 22nd in the poll. Rider is ranked in the poll for the fourth time in program history and the first time since during the program's historic 2016-17 season. The ranking is the highest-ever for Rider in the poll. The Broncs are one of two MAAC teams ranked in the poll (Marist No. 9).

- Rider was picked to finish third in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. It is the highest the Broncs have been picked to finish in the preseason poll since joining the league. Rider was tabbed fourth in both 2018-19 and 2009-10.

- Stella Johnson became the first player in program history to earn MAAC Preseason Player of the Year honors. Stella was also a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-MAAC First Team. Two other Broncs picked up preseason accolades as senior Amari Johnson landed on the Preseason All-MAAC Second Team and classmate Lea Favre earned Preseason All-MAAC Third Team distinction.

- Senior Stella Johnson was named to the Women's Citizen Naismith Trophy Watch List as announced by the Atlanta Tipoff Club on November 6th. Johnson is one of 50 players in the nation and just two players from mid-major programs to earn a spot on the list. In late October, Johnson was also named one of 20 watch-list candidates for the 2020 Nancy Lieberman Award as announced by The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
