WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- All regular-season home games in 2018-19 will be carried on either ESPN3 or ESPN+. Road games only will be carried on 107.7 The Bronc. No radio broadcasts for home games will be provided.
- Rider and Canisius are playing for the 46th time in the all-time series history with the Golden Griffins holding a 32-13 advantage. Rider has had the edge of late, winning four straight meetings between the two teams. Rider has won the last games between the two teams in Lawrenceville by double digits.
- Junior guard
Stella Johnson was named the MAAC Player of the Week and the College Sports Madness MAAC Player of the Week on Monday. It marked the fifth time this season that she picked up both accolades in a week. She is the only player in the conference to be named the Player of the Week more than twice this season. On Tuesday, Stella was also named the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Division I Player of the Week. It was her second time earning the distinction this season. She is the only MAAC player to earn that distinction this year. On November 19, College Sports Madness also named Stella the National Division I Mid-Major Player of the Week.

Lexi Posset and
Stella Johnson each scored 22 points apiece in Rider's win at Manhattan last Sunday. Posset knocked down three shots from three-point range and converted on 9-of-10 attempts from the free-throw line. Stella shot of 7-of-13 from the field, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. The pair also combined for 13 assists. With points and assists, the pair accounted for 68 points in the win.
- Junior forward
Lea Favre had a monster game in the post for the Broncs against the Jaspers. She scored 15 points on an efficient 7-of-11 shooting from the field. Favre had 14 points in the paint in the victory. This season, she is shooting a team-high 51.6 percent (65-of-126).
- Rider shot over 73 percent from the foul line (14-of-19) in the win at Manhattan. Down the stretch, the Broncs converted on 9-of-10 free throws during the fourth quarter. The 14 free throws were the second-most made by the Broncs this season. It marked the seventh time this year that Rider made 70 percent or better of their free-throw attempts.
Lexi Posset is currently second in the MAAC in free-throw percentage, hitting over 82 percent this season.
- Rider is 6-0 in MAAC play for the first time in program history. The previous best six-game start to the year in conference play for Rider was 5-1 which came during their historic 2016-17 campaign. Rider is one of two unbeaten teams left in the MAAC alongside preseason favorite Quinnipiac. Rider is the only MAAC program that currently has both their men's and women's teams undefeated in conference play.
- Rider has not trailed in either of their last two games. The Broncs have not trailed in their last 100 minutes of game action. Rider led throughout the second half in their win over Iona. The team followed that up by opening up on a 7-0 run against Saint Peter's. The team would never look back versus SPU en route to a 22-point win. Last time out, Rider built an 11-point lead and maintained their advantage throughout.
- Rider is 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the MAAC in games decided by five points or fewer. The Broncs have won four straight games decided by two possessions or fewer. Last year, the team was 2-5 in games decided by five points or less with both wins coming in MAAC play.Â
