MADISON, NJ – The Rider University women's tennis team rolled to a pair of 7-2 wins over Arcadia and Drew Sunday afternoon in Madison, NJ. Playing with just five players, the Broncs won every match they contested, forfeiting at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles to account for the two points ceded in each match. With the wins, Rider improves to 3-1.

The Broncs won all five singles flights in both matches in straight sets and cruised in both double flights in both matches. Amanda Binder (Princeton, NJ/West Windsor Plainsboro North), Vanessa Canda (Jersey City, NJ/McNair Academic), Angelica Garcia (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Academia Maria Reina) and Cyd Melendez (Cayey, PR/Colegio La Merced) each took four victories, two each at singles and doubles, on the day, while Sydney Jeffrey (Port St. Lucie, FL/Lincoln Park Academy) also won a pair of singles matches.

The Broncs return to action Wednesday, when they play host to Delaware State at 3 p.m.
