NOTES & QUOTES
"We had a really good meet tonight. We have been waiting for the team to perform at the level that they did tonight. We had many of our standout athletes have great performances and many others that made great strides tonight. We had challenged the team to step up and be who we think they should be and they responded. We need to take this confidence and carry it forward to the conference meet."
– Rider Head Coach Bob Hamer
"
Sara Gardner had an incredible meet today. She set a school record, PRed in the 200, and then a huge PR and ECAC qualifier in the high jump. That is a great day. She unfortunately hit a hurdle last week and missed the final. It was a disappointing meet for her. We all have bad meets or performances and the key is how well you respond. She responded exactly how big time athletes do, they have a huge meet. She is a special athlete and she has the ability to accomplish a lot of great things."
– Hamer
"Brewer had a really good meet with a win in the 800 and anchoring the sprint medley to a Rider record. She is a grinder who works really hard and she had a great meet tonight. We need her to continue to have big performances to help out the team."
