What You Need to Know
- Rider enters the MAAC Tournament as the No. 5 seed thanks to finishing the year with a 10-8 mark in league play. The Broncs secured a first-round bye in the league tourney for the second year in a row.  The Broncs will face fourth-seeded Fairfield in the MAAC quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon. Both the Broncs and Stags finished with 10-8 records in league.

- Rider and Fairfield split their regular-season series with each team winning on the others home floor. In early January, the Broncs would use a 9-0 run to build a double-digit lead in the third quarter. In total, Rider closed the third on a 12-2 run over the final 6:34 of the frame to pull away. Stella Johnson scored 19 points to lead the way for Rider. Two weeks later, the Stags would use a 14-0 third-quarter spurt to rally past Rider, 67-58, in Lawrenceville. Rider shot just 25 percent from the field in the second half of the second meeting this season as Fairfield won their third straight game in Lawrenceville.

- The Stags enter the MAAC Tournament as the No. 4 seed thanks to posting a 10-8 mark in league play. Fairfield has an overall record of 13-16. The Stags won the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Broncs courtesy of splitting their regular-season series with third-place Siena. Rider lost its lone meeting with the Saints this year. As a team, the Stags rank in the top-three in the MAAC in three different statistical categories. Fairfield is second in both scoring defense (59.2) and three point made field goals per game (6.3), while ranking third in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.01).  Fairfield is led by Second Team All-MAAC honoree Samantha Cooper. The fifth-year senior leads the team with 14.9 points per game and ranks tops in the conference with 10 rebounds per game. She is lone player in the MAAC averaging a double-double this season. In two games against Rider this year, Cooper is averaging over 17 points and 12 rebounds with a pair of double-doubles. She also ranks fourth in the MAAC in minutes played per game (35.1). Sam Kramer and Diouf Khadidiatou are both pouring over nine points per contest as well for the Stags. Guard Casey Foley is third in the MAAC in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.7) and she is also adding over three assists per game for the Stags.

- Rider and Fairfield are playing for the second straight year in the MAAC Tournament. The Broncs knocked off the Stags in last year's MAAC Seminfinals. 2017-18 marks the first time in program history that Rider has won 10 or more MAAC games in back-to-back seasons. Rider's 10 MAAC wins this year are tied for the most in program history in an 18-game league schedule.

- Stella Johnson and Kamila Hoskova both earned Second Team All-MAAC honors this season. Freshman Jaiden Morris was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team. The three Broncs honored by the league were tied for tops in the MAAC along with Marist, Quinnipiac and Manhattan.

- Rider is looking to advance past the MAAC Quarterfinals for the second straight season and the third time in program history.

- The Broncs are a perfect 12-0 this season when holding opponents under 60 points. In all 10 of Rider's victories against MAAC opponents they have held their opponents under 60.

- Rider's win on Sunday at Manhattan was their first of the season when trailing after 30 minutes. The Broncs are also 2-5 this year in games decided by five points or fewer.
