What You Need to Know
- Rider returns home for a two-game home stand this week, beginning with a tilt against hOURglass rival Saint Peter's on Friday evening. The Broncs close out the spurt in Lawrenceville on Sunday at 1:00 pm against Iona. At home, Rider is 5-6 this season and the Broncs have won four of their last five MAAC games at Alumni Gym after dropping the first two to open the year.

- Last time out, Rider surrendered just 11 first-half points to Saint Peter's and the Broncs forced 20 Peacock turnovers. Rider held off the SPU second-half surge to score a 62-52 triumph inside Alumni Gymnasium. The win was seventh in conference play this year for the Broncs. Stella Johnson scored a team-high 15 points on an efficient 4-of-6 shooting, while Lexi Stover tied a career-high with 13 points.

- The Gaels enter Sunday's matinee with a 1-23 overall record and a 1-12 mark in MAAC play after falling at home to Fairfield on Thursday. Iona has dropped three conference contests in a row after scoring a 10-point win against Saint Peter's in New Rochelle. The Gaels are winless on the road this season, having dropped 12 consecutive games away from home. It is a three-headed attack for Iona with Alexis Lewis, Toyosi Abiola and Treyanna Clay all averaging in double figures. The trio is accounting for over 62 percent of the team's scoring this season. Lewis is pouring in a team-high 14 points per game, while Abiola is scoring over 12 and Clay is chipping in 10 points a game. Lewis also leads the team in rebounding with over eight rebounds per contest, while Clay is knocking down 40 percent of her shots from the field. Abiola has been named the MAAC Rookie of the Week seven times this year and she is tied for tops in the MAAC with over 35 minutes played per game.

- Rider erased a 12-point first quarter with a stout defensive effort to rally and beat Iona, 62-49, in New Rochelle in late January. The Broncs outscored Iona, 43-13, in the second and third quarters to take a lead they would not relinquish. In the victory, Stella Johnson finished one rebound shy of a double-double thanks to a 16-point, 9-rebound performance. Freshman Jaiden Morris added 13 points in 19 minutes off the bench for the Broncs in the come-from-behind victory.

- This season, Rider is 9-0 when holding opponents to under 60 points. Rider has held their opponents under 60 points in all seven of their conference wins this season. The Broncs are also 10-2 (7-1 in MAAC play) in 2017-18 when they shoot a higher percentage than their opponents. The Broncs have forced at least 17 turnovers in a game 15 times this season, including last time out against the Peacocks. Rider has a +1.4 turnover ratio this year which ranks third in the MAAC. When opponents score over 60 points in MAAC play, the Broncs are 0-6.

- Rider got off to a quick start against Saint Peter's on Friday evening. The Broncs shot over 46 percent (7-of-15) and forced nine SPU turnovers to build a 10-point lead at 16-6 after 10 minutes of play. The tilt with the Peacocks marked the first time in five conference games (dating back to January 21 at Marist) that Rider held a lead after the first quarter.

- Sophomore Lea Favre scored nine points on 4-of-7 shooting and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds in Friday's win against Saint Peter's. It was her second game this season with 10 or more rebounds and her first in conference play. Over her last five games, Favre is converting over 53 percent (16-of-30) of her shots from the field. She's also hit 9-of-11 from the free-throw line during that stretch.
