PROVIDENCE, RI – The Rider University women's swimming diving team opened up action at the 2018 Bruno Invited hosted by Brown University on Friday. The three-day event takes place at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center and features seven teams on the women's side and six on the men's.
After the first day, the Broncs are in seventh-place with 40 total points.
The quartet of
Victoria Evans (Egg Harbor, NJ/Egg Harbor Township),
Olivia Iswalt (Reading, PA/Berks Catholic),
Anastasia Aleksandrova (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick Township) and
Maeve Lersch (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper Saint Clair) picked up the first points of the day for Rider in the 200 free relay. They finished in ninth with a time of 1:36.14.
The Rider 'A' 400 medley relay of
Taylor Stalnaker (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury),
Kyra Schwerzler (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional),
Kylie McMahon (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's) and Iswalt came in 14-place at 3:54.49 to earn eight points.

- The Rider 'B' 200 free relay of
Amy Rheel,
Nicole Harms, Jess Homitz and
Maire Wilson earned eight points for the team thanks to finishing with a time of 1:14.16.

Maire Wilson finished in 42nd in the 500 free with a time of 5:22.52.

Anastasia Aleksandrova came in 35th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.66.
