GENEVA, OH – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team finished ninth at the 2025 MAAC Swimming and Diving Championship. The Broncs totaled 202 points, while Niagara won the team title with 766 total points.
In the diving well,
Maiti O'Connor (South Plainfield, NJ/The Wardlaw-Hartridge School) scored 219.65 to earn a bronze medal and
Karyn Creelman (Mohton, PA/Governor Mifflin) scored 209.70 to take sixth on the 1-meter.
To close out the meet, Sonya Mishakova (Bali, Indonesia/Australian Independent School Bali),
Hannah Yemec (Bluffton, SC/May River),
Liv Turner-Havira (Archbald, PA/Scranton Prep), and
Lea Opdyke (Ocala, FL/West Point) combined to swim 3:31.71 for ninth in the 400-free relay.
