WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- All regular-season home games in 2018-19 will be carried on either ESPN3 or ESPN+. Road games only will be carried on 107.7 The Bronc. No radio broadcasts for home games will be provided.
- Rider is traveling south to Philadelphia to take part in the two-day Hawk Classic hosted by Saint Joseph's the weekend after Thanksgiving. Rider will open up against the host Hawks on Saturday at noon in a game that will be streamed on ESPN+. Win or lose, the Broncs will play on Sunday at noon at Hagan Arena. Boston College and Loyola are also playing in the event.
- The Hawks enter the weekend with an overall record of 1-3 after topping Niagara, 68-54, on Tuesday evening in Philadelphia. The 14-point victory over the Purple Eagles snapped a season-opening, three-game skid for the Hawks. Alyssa Monaghan paced SJU in the victory with 22 points, while senior Michala Clay recorded her first career double-double. Monaghan leads the Hawk attack with over 12 points per game this season and she has also connected on a team-best seven three-pointers. At the free-throw line, the Hawks shoot 74 percent as a team. In the post, Katie Mayock has blocked seven shots through four games and Katie Jekot has a team-best 10 steals. Â

Stella Johnson recorded a triple-double to lead the Broncs past visiting Mount St. Mary's, 85-67, on Saturday, November 17. The win was the first of the season for Rider. Stella and classmate
Amari Johnson combined to score 63 points as the Broncs earned their first victory of the fall. After an early 2-0 deficit, Rider never trailed again in the contest with their lead ballooning to as much as 25 late in the fourth quarter.

Stella Johnson recorded the second triple-double in program history last week for the Broncs. She scored a career-high 35 points to go along with 12 rebounds and 10 assists. She is the first player in program history to record a triple-double with points, rebounds and assists. It marked the first triple-double by a player in the MAAC since January of 2005. It was also the first triple-double by a Bronc since Jessica Beck had 19 points, 18 rebounds and 12 blocks in February of 1995.
- Stella shot 14-of-19 from the field, including 6-of-8, from three-point range in the win against Mount St. Mary's. She set new career-highs in points, field-goals made and three-point field-goals made, while tying her career-high in assists. With her 35 points and 10 assists, Stella was directly responsible for 56 of Rider's 85 points. Â
- On Monday,
Stella Johnson was named the MAAC Player of the Week and the College Sports Madness MAAC Player of the Week for the second time this year. It marked the fourth time she picked up weekly accolades from the MAAC after twice being tabbed as the MAAC Rookie of the Week during her freshman campaign. College Sports Madness also named Stella the National Division I Mid-Major Player of the Week on Monday as well.

Amari Johnson scored a career-high 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting for Rider last time out. She added seven rebounds, one assist and one steal. It marked her third game this year with seven or more rebounds. She hit all four of her free-throw attempts. Amari also hit a career-best four three-pointers versus the Mountaineers.
- Rider has won the third quarter in all four of their games this season. Coming out of halftime versus Mount St. Mary's, the Broncs scored 26 points and hit 10-of-13 shots from the field. The 26 points were the most scored by Rider in any quarter this season. The Broncs are outscoring opponents, 82-67, in the 10 minutes following halftime this year.
