LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Field Hockey sophomore Marion Waterkeyn (Antwerp, Belgium/OLVE) and men's soccer graduate student Elliott Otmani (La Ciotat, France/Bonaparte) have been named Rider Athletes of the Month for September.

Waterkeyn scored five goals and added four assists as the Broncs went 4-4. During the month, she scored two goals in a 10-4 win at Hofstra and she also registered two assists in a 3-0 victory in the home opener against Saint Francis (PA). Against Villanova on September 23, she had a goal and an assist. She recorded at least one point in the team's first six games of the month. She was also honored as the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on September 24.

Otmani scored three goals and added three assists, both team high's and led the Broncs to a pair of victories to open conference play. His penalty kick against Fairleigh Dickinson led to a 1-1 tie to open the season. He also had a goal and an assist in consecutive games to open league play against Iona (Sept. 26) and Marist (Sept. 29), for which he was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week.
