The Broncs (13-9, 8-5 MAAC) won their fifth straight match and avenged a 3-0 setback to the Red Foxes (11-12, 8-5 MAAC) earlier this autumn in Lawrenceville. Rider won by scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-21 and 25-19 to earn their fourth MAAC victory in a row. Â

Marist jumped out to an early 18-14 advantage, but the guests responded with eight straight points to take the wind out of the Red Foxes' sails. The Broncs had 24 kills over the final two sets and took advantage of 17 Marist attack errors during that time to pull away and secure the victory.
Leading the charge offensively for Rider was Riede. She had 15 kills and an impressive .382 hitting percentage to go along with two block assists. Sophomore outside hitter

NOTES & QUOTES
"It was an excellent team win today. Our blocking really dictated the flow in critical points of the match. Offensively we leaned on Hailey and Meredith. Anilee did an excellent job seeing the block and creating good hitting situations for our hitters. Our first touch group did a very good job alleviating the pressure off of everyone else, this allowed everyone to get into a rhythm."
