BETHLEHEM, PA – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team fell to host Lehigh, 177-109, on Saturday afternoon in non-conference dual-meet action at Jacobs Pool.
The Broncs (1-2) fell to the Mountain Hawks (3-1) for the second year in a row.
On the day, Rider won four events.
Freshman
Aubrey Marish (South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) recorded her second collegiate dual-meet win thanks to finishing first in the 500 free with a mark of 5:21.60. She won an individual event for the second meet in a row.
Freshman Kyla May (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) won the 200 back with a time of 2:10.87. The Broncs finished 1-2-3 in the event with
Cameron Weis (Lafayette Hills, PA/Bishop Stang) finishing in second and
Olivia Cann (Woodbury Heights, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) ended up in third.
Freshman
Anastasia Aleksandrova (North Bruswick, NJ/North Brunswick Township) finished first in the 100 free at 54.85. She won the event for the second meet in a row.
In the diving events, junior
Meg Tomayko (Murfreesboro, TN/Siegel) and senior
Breanne Hatter (Lincroft, NJ/Middletown HS South) both performed well. Tomayko won the 3M event with a score of 255.97, while Hatter finished in second at 245.54. In the 1M, Hatter was second with a score of 234.51 and Tomayko was third with a total score of 228.37.

Kylie McMahon was tabbed as the MAAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this fall.

Kyra Schwerzler was second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:09.27.

UP NEXT
Rider returns to action next Saturday, October 27, with a road Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) dual meet against reigning conference champion Marist that is slated to begin at 1:00 pm. The Broncs are looking to avenge 178-122 to the Red Foxes last season.
