WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Rider hosts a dual-meet on campus for the second weekend in a row as Siena comes to Coppola Pool on Saturday, October 13. Last season, the Broncs defeated the Saints, 160-134, in Loudonville.
- Last time out, the Broncs started the 2018-19 season with a 170-126 setback to in-state rival Seton Hall in dual-match action on October 6 at Coppola Pool.
- On Wednesday, a pair of Broncs brought home MAAC weekly awards. Freshman
Kylie McMahon was tabbed as the MAAC Women's Swimmer of the Week, while junior
Meg Tomayko was honored as the MAAC Women's Diver of the Week. In the first iteration of the weekly awards this season the Broncs are the first team to sweep. In her collegiate debut, McMahon picked up weekly accolades for the first time in her career, while Tomayko received weekly distinction for the second time in her career.
- McMahon was impressive in her debut for the Broncs in a dual-meet against Big EAST foe Seton Hall. She won two individual events and also picked up a second-place finish for Rider. She won the 200 fly by over three seconds with a time of 2:08.07. McMahon also finished first in the 100 fly by over three seconds with an impressive mark of 58.35. She was the only swimmer on the day to break one minute in the event. McMahon also landed in second in the 200 IM with a mark of 2:13.24.
- Tomayko began her third season with the Broncs with a strong performance in a dual meet against in-state rival Seton Hall last week. She landed in third-place in the 1M with a score of 227.10. Tomayko ended the day with a second-place result in the 3M dive with a total score of 226.80.

Kayla May saw success in her collegiate debut with a win in the 100 back against SHU thanks to posting a time of 59.21. Classmate
Kyra Schwerzler rounded out the winners for the Bronc swimmers on Saturday versus the Pirates. She finished first in the 100 breast with a mark of 1:07.65.
- Rider also got strong performances from their divers in their first dual meet of the 2018-19 campaign as senior
Breanne Hatter won the 1M dive with a score of 247.19.
