What You Need to Know
- Rider returns to action on Saturday, December 9, with a road non-conference clash with Mount St. Mary's in Maryland. The meeting is the first between the two teams since the 2012-13 campaign.  

- Rider enters the game in the midst of a two-game winning streak. The Broncs are undefeated in December after going winless in November.

- Mount St. Mary's enters the weekend with a 1-7 overall record following a 97-57 setback at Maryland on Wednesday. Prior to the tilt with the Terrapins, the Mountaineers scored their first win of the season thanks to topping visiting Loyola, 71-63. After six straight games on the road to open the season, the Mount is 1-0 at home in 2017-18. The balanced Mount St. Mary's attack sees three players averaging in double figures led by sophomore guard Kayla Agentowicz with better than 13 points per contest. Sophomore guard Ashlee White and senior wing Katrice Dickson are both pouring in over 10 points per game. Last time out, Dickson scored a team-high 16 points versus Maryland. Agentowicz is shooting 50 percent from the field and knocking down nearly 46 percent of her shots from three-point range. On the boards, junior guard Juliette Lawless is the only Mountaineer pulling down more than four rebounds per tilt. As a team, Mount St. Mary's is committing nearly 21 turnovers per game and has a negative six turnover margin. The Mountaineers score over 61 points per game and are shooting almost 39 percent from the field.

- Mount St. Mary's and Rider are playing for the 23rd time in the series history and for the first time since the 2012-13 campaign. The Mountaineers lead the all-time series, 17-5. MSM and Rider have split the last two meetings. In last game between the two, the Mountaineers scored a 70-67 triumph in Lawrenceville in November of 2012.  

- Rider won its second straight game, defeating La Salle, 76-55, in Philadelphia. The Broncs used a fourth-quarter surge (in which they outscored the Explorers, 27-13) to pick up their first road win of the season. In the midweek contest, Rider set new team season-highs in points (76), field goals made (28), assists (18), blocks (8), field goal percentage (51.9%) and three-point field goal percentage (50%).

- Rider had a season-high eight blocks in the win at La Salle. It was their most in a game since swatting 10 shots at home versus Monmouth on February 21 of last season. Stella Johnson set a new career-high with four blocks. Entering the game, she had two blocks on the season. Aubre Johnson all set a new career-best with two blocks, while Lexi Posset also added a pair of blocks against the Explorers.

- Rider has had more assists than turnovers in two straight games. Versus Vermont, the Broncs had 12 assist and just nine turnovers. Against La Salle, Rider had 18 dimes and 17 giveaways. The Broncs are 2-0 when they have more assists than turnovers.

- Kamila Hoskova scored 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting against La Salle. It marked the first time this season that she has topped the 20-point plateau. Hoskova has scored in double figures a team-high seven times and has led the team in scoring in four games. She has a team-best 14.6 points per game and also leads the team in rebounding with over six boards per contest.

- Rider earned its first of the season on Friday, December 1 behind 28 points from Stella Johnson. The Broncs topped visiting Vermont, 64-49, inside Alumni Gym. In the contest, Rider knocked down a season-best eight shots from three-point range and forced 19 UVM turnovers.

- Sophomore Stella Johnson scored 28 points on an impressive 11-of-14 shooting versus Vermont on Friday. Johnson also added six assists, five steals, four rebounds and knocked down 4-of-5 from three-point range. She posted a career-best 6-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. She set new career bests in points (28), field goals made (11) and three-point field goals made (4).
