What You Need to Know
- Rider returns to action on Wednesday, December 6, with a road non-conference clash with La Salle in Philadelphia. In last year's meeting,
Kamila Hoskova scored 12 points as the Broncs earned their first-ever win against the Explorers. La Salle had won the first nine meetings between the two teams.
- Rider enters the game in search of their first road win of the season, while La Salle is 1-1 in front of their home crowd early in the year.
- La Salle enters the midweek contest with a 4-4 overall record following a 71-60 setback at Wisconsin on Saturday. Prior to the tilt with the Badges, the Explorers had won three straight. . Senior wing Amy Griffin is one of three La Salle players that averages in double figures. Griffin is pouring in a team-high 16.1 points per game thanks to knocking down over 57 percent (11-of-19) of her shots from three-point range. Griffin is also grabbing a team-best 5.6 rebounds per game. Other factors on the offensive end for the Explorers are junior guard Andreana Miller and redshirt freshman guard Shaquana Edwards. Miller and Edwards are both scoring more than 11 points per tilt. The trio of Griffin, Miller and Edwards have hit all 30 of La Salle's three-pointers this season. As a team, La Salle has a negative 8.8 turnover margin per game. The Explorers are shooting nearly 44 percent (152-of-347) from the field and dish out 13 assists per contest.
- Rider earned its first of the season on Friday, December 1 behind 28 points from
Stella Johnson. The Broncs topped visiting Vermont, 64-49, inside Alumni Gym. In the contest, Rider knocked down a season-best eight shots from three-point range and forced 19 UVM turnovers.
- Sophomore
Stella Johnson scored 28 points on an impressive 11-of-14 shooting versus Vermont on Friday. Johnson also added six assists, five steals, four rebounds and knocked down 4-of-5 from three-point range. She posted a career-best 6-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. She set new career bests in points (28), field goals made (11) and three-point field goals made (4).

Lexi Posset combined for 10 assists and just two turnovers. Posset had four dimes in the game. It was her third game this year with four or more assists this year. She had six in the season opener against Bucknell and also had six against East Carolina.
- The Broncs hit a season-best eight three-pointer last time out against Vermont. It was the first time this season that the Broncs hit more than six treys in a contest. Their 33.0 percentage from deep against the Catamounts was also a season-best and it came on the heels of the ECU game in which the team did not make a shot from beyond the arc.
- Hoskova currently ranks third in Rider history in free-throw shooting percentage. She is looking to become just the third player in program history to knock down over 80 percent of her shots from the charity stripe. She has hit 218-of-275 attempts. She has played in 99 games for the Broncs in her career and has scored 891 career points. Hoskova is fifth in Rider history in three-point field goal percentage (.338) and currently tied for sixth in field goal percentage (.439).

Jaiden Morris was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week on Monday, November 27 as announced by the league office. She became the first Bronc to earn weekly honors this season and she's the first Rider player to be tabbed as the Rookie of the Week since
Stella Johnson received the distinction twice last season. Morris averaged 12 points per contest in a trio of games for the Broncs.
