BETHLEHEM, Pa.—Both the Rider University men's and women's tennis teams were swept in a non-conference match at Lehigh University on Sunday.

“Lehigh was very tough for both teams,” said head coach Doug Potkay.  “Both teams battled hard, especially on the men's side but double faults at crucial times hurt our chances.”

For the Rider men, sophomore Chris Popso (Florence) won four games before losing at second singles 6-3, 6-1.

For the Bronc women, sophomore Olivia Banks (Baltimore, Md./Franklin) won two games at sixth singles before losing 6-0, 6-2.

The Rider women host Longwood March 12.

The Bronc men are back in action on March 22 against La Salle.
