Broncs Sign Three
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ—The Rider University men's soccer team, champion of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, has added three recruits for the 2016 season, head coach Charlie Inverso announced.
Dino Gromitsaris of Bordentown, NJ, Jonah Conway of Mt. Olive, NJ and Aaron Robinson of Lancaster, PA, have all signed national letters of intent to further their education and soccer careers at Rider.
“These three guys are going to fit right into the type of player that we have here,” said Inverso, the 2015 Northeast Region Coach of the Year. “They are grounded, hard-working and good students.”
Gromitsaris was an All-State goalkeeper at Bordentown High School. “He played for former Rider standout goalie Mike Brennan at Bordentown,” Inverso said.
Conway is a midfielder from Mount Olive High School. “He is a skillful player from the nationally acclaimed U.S. Development Academy team, PDA,” Inverso said.
Robinson is also a midfielder who can also play defense. “Aaron is a speedy and skillful player from another acclaimed U.S. Development Academy team, PA Classics,” Inverso said.
“When I first got the job at Rider I was told we needed to look for very good players who were flying under the radar that would develop into great players,” Inverso said. “We have several of those players on the team already and I am happy these recruits are coming here as well.”
