Box Score FAIRFIELD, CT – Senior
Ryan Ackermann (Ashburn, VA/Stone Bridge) had 11 digs, including the 1,000th of her Rider career, but the fourth-seeded Broncs fell to Siena, 3-0, in the MAAC Quarterfinals Friday night at Fairfield's Alumni Hall. With the loss, the Broncs conclude one of the most successful seasons in program history at 17-14. The Saints (12-17) advance to face top-seeded Fairfield tomorrow at 2 p.m.
The Saints took the first two sets by 25-23 margins, with the Broncs making several uncharacteristic errors to conclude the second set. Siena then clinched the match with a 25-20 victory in the third set.
“I thought the girls played well about 80 percent of the match,” said Rider Head Coach
Christopher Feliciano. “In the second set, we had a huge lead that we relinquished by making unforced errors. We easily could have been up, 2-0, heading into the 10-minute intermission but it wasn't in our cards. Our journey still remains positive and extremely bright. We just now need to want it more than the next person. While we graduate some very good players, we also have a lot of talent returning. We will continue to work at it and believe in our process.”
All-MAAC First Team honoree
Hailey Riede (Haworth, NJ/Northern Valley-Demarest) led the Broncs with 11 kills, while

Kaitlyn Griffin (Chesapeake, VA/Hickory) contributed seven kills, four blocks and two service aces. MAAC Setter of the Year
Veronica Koval (Allentown, PA/Parkland) distributed 35 assists.
