"This is Rider" - The Commercial Series

Lawrenceville, N.J. – As part of the SAAC Rider ESPY's awards show that took place on May 6, 2015, the BroncVision student staff, under the direction of Donte Carty, coordinator of athletics marketing and promotions, developed a series of commercials titled "This is Rider".  The commercials, which aired in between various team-produced videos during the dinner portion of the awards show, take a creative and humorous behind-the-scenes look at some of the daily operations of the Rider Department of Athletics. 

"We wanted to model our commercials after ESPN's "This is Sportscenter" commercials and show some humor pertaining to operations in the athletic training room, the athletics administrative offices, the equipment room, and with our mascot," said Carty.  "Some members of our BroncVision student staff worked with the various individuals involved in the videos to develop the ideas and then film and edit them for use in the awards show.  The videos were a surprise that only a few people knew about in advance and the reviews from our student-athletes and department staff were extremely positive."
