Rider Hosts Saint Peter's
hOURglass and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Game
LAWRENCEVILLE—In a game postponed from January 26, the Rider University women's basketball will play Saint Peter's University on Tuesday at 7pm in Alumni Gymnasium.
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and hOURglass rivalry game can be heard live on www.1077thebronc.com and 107.7 FM The Bronc.
After winning four of its last five games, Rider (7-16, 4-9 MAAC) has lost two in a row, including a 96-54 thrashing at first place Quinnipiac University on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Robin Perkins leads Rider in scoring at 11.4 points per game with senior Marritta Gillcrease leading the team in rebounding (7.0 rpg.) and blocked shots (44).
Rider and Saint Peter's last met on January 2, 2015 in Jersey City when the Peacocks overcame a double-digit second half deficit to win 50-49.
After traveling to Monmouth University for a 7pm ESPN 3 game on Friday, the Broncs return home for National Girl's and Women in Sports Day on Sunday at 1pm against Manhattan College.
