Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Match

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.—The Rider University men's tennis team lost a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match at Marist College on Sunday afternoon.

“When you play the perennial champions of the conference, it is very difficult to win games, let alone sets,” said head coach Ed Torres.  “They are a powerhouse and they don't lose many matches.”

Rider only won three games in singles play, two by senior Mike Gershon (East Brunswick) at sixth singles.

The Rider women host La Salle in a non-conference match April 16.

The Bronc men travel to La Salle for a non-conference match April 17.
