Broncs Home at 3pm vs. NJIT

LAWRENCEVILLE--The Rider University men's tennis team swings back into action today at 3pm when the Broncs welcome NJIT to the campus courts.

Rider (0-1) and NJIT last met on October 16, 2011 when the Highlanders blanked the Broncs 7-0 in Lawrenceville.  The teams also met April 7, 2010 with NJIT also scoring a 7-0 win.

Bronc senior Mike Gershon (East Brunswick) had a strong opening match for the fall 2012 season, winning five games at sixth singles before losing to Fairfield 6-2, 6-3 on September 12.

After today's match against the Highlanders, Rider travels to Sparkill, New York for a non-conference match against St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday.
