LAWRENCEVILLE--The Rider University men's tennis team lost a non-conference match to La Salle on Thursday afternoon.  "It was a competitive match," said head coach Ed Torres.  "We had some long rallies.  La Salle has a pretty experienced team."

Senior Marc Ashed (Vineland) won eight games at second singles with junior Rob Olsen (Marlton/Cherokee) winning seven games at fifth singles.

The Rider men and women host Loyola Maryland in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match April 5.
