Fordham University 7, Rider University 0
BRONX, N.Y.--The Rider University men's tennis team lost a non-conference match to Fordham University Wednesday afternoon. "The match was much closer than the scores indicated," said head coach Ed Torres.
For the Broncs in the Bronx, junior Rob Olsen (Marlton/Cherokee) won seven games at fifth singles before losing in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
"We made a lot of unforced errors," Torres added. "We were in most of the points but we didn't finish. We had a lot of good rallies. With more time on the court, we'll start winning those points."
The men's team hosts La Salle on Thursday on the Lawrenceville campus.
