McGeechan led Rider to five-straight MAAC wins to end October, pushing the Broncs to the top of the league table. McGeechan figured on both Rider goals in a 2-0 win over Quinnipiac, assisting on Bryan Akongo’s game winner in the ninth minute, before scoring a goal of his own in the 79^th minute to seal the victory. He also scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Siena on Oct. 26. Defensively, McGeechan also helped the Broncs to four shutouts and just one goal allowed in five league games during October. Included in the production was a pair of shots cleared off the goal line in the win over Quinnipiac.
