Gardner won MAAC Track Performer of the Week twice in April. She first set a new program record in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 13.63 seconds at the Georgia Tech Invitational, before breaking her own record, finishing in 13.51 seconds at the Penn Relays to finish sixth. Gardner’s time has qualified for NCAA’s in each of the last eight years. Entering MAAC Championships, Gardner has the best time in the league in the 200 meters and the second-best time in the 100-meter hurdles. Gardner has now earned Rider Female Athlete of the Month in consecutive months.
