Ortwein won the McLeod Trophy as MAAC Individual Champion, becoming Rider’s third champion in the last four years (Austin Devereux – 2021, 2022). Ortwein shot four-under for the tournament, carding consecutive three-under 69’s in the second and third rounds to ascend to the top of the leaderboard. With the win comes an automatic berth in the NCAA Regionals, May 13-15, in West Lafayette, IN.
