Senior libero Emma Aldaya made history last month for the women’s volleyball team as became the program’s all-time leader in digs. In the first set versus Quinnipiac on September 24, she broke the previous Rider record of 1,830 career digs. During the month of September, she averaged 4.65 digs per set and totaled 219 digs as Rider went 7-7 overall and 3-3 in MAAC play. She had 10 or more digs in a match 10 times, including topping 20 or more digs four times. Aldaya had a season-best 30 digs against Holy Cross on September 9.
