Prior to coaching with Rider, Levin was the head coach at Gloucester Catholic High School. He is also a head coach for Cherry Hill Volleyball Club. In addition, Levin runs developmental volleyball programs throughout Southern New Jersey for grades 1-8 where he teaches basic, fundamental skills to players that are brand new to the sport.
Levin has coached many players at the high school level that have gone on to play in colleges including University of Delaware, George Washington University in DC, and Towson to name a few.
In addition to Levin's coaching career, he also played growing up in Vineland, NJ. He has never been on a competitive volleyball team, but his passion for the sport led him to run a club team while at Eastern Nazarene College where he was the captain and coach. He ran practices, set up scrimmages, matches, and called colleges to gain invites to tournaments while there.
When asked about his decision to coach at Rider, Levin stated, “I was told by my volleyball coaching mentor to be around coaches that you trust. The coaches at Rider are very trustworthy and I am excited to be able to learn and grow under their guidance. I am grateful for the opportunity to be coaching with such dedicated coaching staff and a hardworking team. This program has a bright future and I’m excited to be able to see that and be a part of it.”
Levin earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Nazarene College in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.
