Cristina Maurizi

Maurizi joins the Broncs as an assistant coach ahead of Rider's inaugural season. Most recently Maurizi was the Associate Head Coach at Franklin & Marshall University, helping the Diplomats to the NCAA Division III Final Four, concluding the season with an 18-5 record in 2023. She was part of the group named the IWLCA Metro Coaching Staff of the Year.

The Broncs improved in year two as a program, going 8-10 overall, and reaching the MAAC Tournament, earning a first-round victory over Niagara. Katie Walsh earned First-Team All-MAAC honors after setting a program-best mark with 54 goals and 114 draw controls. Draw specialist Marissa Ross was named to the All-MAAC Second Team after securing 82 draws and helping the Broncs finish the season ranked 11th in draw percentage. Elizabeth Shean earned MAAC All-Rookie honors.

In Rider's inaugural season, the Broncs earned an 8-9 record, including wins in each of the program's first four games. Katie Walsh was named to the All-MAAC Second Team with Elena Bontatibus and Hayley Henderson earning MAAC All-Rookie Team honors. Kylee Garcia was selected to the IWLCA Senior All-Star Game.

Prior to Franklin and Marshall, Maurizi was the Head Coach at Stockton University for seven seasons, compiling a 59-40 record and making three ECAC Tournament appearances, including winning the ECAC Championship in 2018.

Maurizi got her start in the collegiate coaching ranks, spending three years as an assistant at Montclair State University, helping the Red Hawks reach the NCAA Tournament in 2013. A four-year collegiate player at George Mason University, Maurizi appeared in 49 games and and was a two-year team captain.
