Whitney Ffrench

Whitney Ffrench completed her third season at Rider University in 2012-13 before leaving in June to pursue other interests.  

French graduated from Saint Joseph's in 2007 and spent 2008-09 and 2009-10 as an assistant coach at Wagner College where she earned her master's degree in Elementary Education.

While on Hawk Hill, Ffrench played when Milligan was an assistant for the Hawks and appeared in 97 games (64 starts), finishing sixth all-time with 363 free throws, while earning Big 5 honors as a senior team captain.

Ffrench led Saint Joseph's to three Womens' National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) appearances in her four seasons.

Ffrench earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in French and earned Athletic Honor Roll honors three times.

While at Wagner, Ffrench was responsible for player recruitment and evaluation as well as scouting and game day preparation.

A native of New Minas, Nova Scotia, Ffrench was a McDonald's All-America nominee at Tabor Academy (Marion, Mass.) where she captained the Seawolves to back-to-back New England Prep Championships.
