Howard comes to Rider in October of 2022 as the Director of Basketball Operations.
Rider closed the 2022-23 season strong winning five of its final nine games, including an opening round victory in the MAAC Tournament over Marist. Amanda Mobley moved into second on Rider's career assist list, including a Division-I program record 13 against Manhattan. Mobley finished the season ranked just outside the top ten in the country for assists.
Howard most recently worked as a director of Nike and Elite summer camps while spending two years as an assistant coach at St. Joe’s Prep in Philadelphia. Howard played professionally for three years in Europe following a four-year collegiate career at NJIT, where he was a 1,000 point scorer and finished in the top five in the D-I era in program history in points, rebounds, and assists.
