James Navalance joined the Broncs as Director of Basketball Operations in July of 2023.
"Every time we add to our staff we are looking for someone who shares our vision for Rider Women's Basketball," said Milligan. "Someone who is hardworking, loyal, and genuinely will care about our kids and program. James fits this on every level. We are excited to have him join our family. The experience he got from Georgian Court with Coach Jazz will make his transition easy."
Navalance most recently worked as an assistant coach at Georgian Court University for the past two years, working his way up from student manager, to graduate assistant, to his final position with the Lions. During the 2020-21 season, Navalance helped guide the team to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history since joining Division II ahead of the 2003-04 campaign. In addition to his work with Georgian Court, Navalance has been a college basketball writer for Game Haus, an online publication, and hosts the Sports Conversation with James Navalance Podcast for the Bleav Network.
