Public Relations major...86 game veteran...as a junior, started all 30 games and enters the 2010-11 season with 33 starts in a row...led the team in free throw percentage (.909), was second on the team in scoring (10.2) and minutes played (33.1) and ranked third in rebounding (4.7) and assists (0.8)...ranked 12th in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in three-pointers made (1.4) and was 22nd in the MAAC in scoring...scored in 'double-digits' 14 times...had only missed 16 free throws in her career including only three in 2009-10...played a career-high 40 minutes in a Rider win over Pennsylvania, totaling 17 points (including a half court shot just before halftime), nine rebounds and two assists...had a career-high 23 points on seven for 14 shooting and went eight for eight from the free throw line against Fairleigh Dickinson...had 20 points and seven rebounds in a MAAC win over Saint Peter's...in a win over MAAC-rival Manhattan, had 17 points with a career-high five three pointers...had a career-high five assists in a MAAC game against Canisius...as a sophomore, was voted Rider's Most Improved Player...second on the team and 15th in the MAAC averaging 2.1 offensive rebounds per game...second on the team with 23 three-pointers made, third in rebounds per game (4.7), blocks (0.4 bpg.) and fourth on the team in scoring (6.8), field goals made (2.6), steals (0.8 spg.) and minutes (26.3 mpg.)...one of seven Broncs with a free-throw percentage over 70 percent...season-high 16 points in Rider's win over Pennsylvania on January 13...tied career highs in rebounds, assists and steals in Rider's MAAC win over Niagara on February 15...posted a then career-high 31 minutes played, scoring 11 points in a Bronc win at MAAC-rival Manhattan on January 11...as a Rider rookie, played in 29 games, making two starts...scored a season-high 10 points, shooting 50 percent from the field, in Rider's win over Central Florida on November 23 and tied that mark with 10 points against Towson on December 2...first collegiate start was a career-high seven rebound effort with a career-high 26 minutes played against MAAC rival Manhattan on February 3...also had seven rebounds against Iona on February 10...over half of her rebounds were on the offensive glass.
At Trenton Central High School:
Earned Associated Press All-State honors as a senior leading Trenton Central High School to an NJSIAA Group IV state title...graduated with more than 1,000 career points...also starred on the TCHS soccer team as a goalie and was a standout shot putter on the track and field team, earning 12 varsity letters...Spotwood was also the recipient of the prestigious Renee Keister Award.
