Biography

At Rider:
Multimedia and Web Design major...graduates as a 121-game veteran...played in 32 of 33 games as a senior, making 18 starts and averaged 19.4 minutes per game…scored 18 points vs. Siena...made his first career start in his 103rd career game, at Iona...missed the game at Quinnipiac January 4 with the flu...scored 16 points at Siena...compiled first ‘double-double’ in his 102nd game, the win over Hartford...scored 12 points in win over Iona...made three of three three-pointers in win at Morgan State...made four of five shots from the field for 12 points in 15 minutes in win at Charleston Southern...compiled nine points and three rebounds in just 16 minutes off the bench at URI...made five of six free throws vs. Cleveland State this year...as a junior played in all 33 games and enters the MAAC Tournament a veteran of 119 games (103 off the bench)…as a junior was second on the team in free throw percentage (.724), fifth on the team in field goal percentage, seventh on the team in scoring…compiled 10 points and five rebounds in victory at Penn…scored 10 points in the 2015 MAAC Playoff game vs. Saint Peter’s…made seven of 10 shots, including two in overtime, to lead Rider to victory at Manhattan…as a sophomore played in all 31 games...had the best field goal percentage on the 2013-14 team (.487) and the second best three-point field goal percentage (.420)...as a freshman played in 25 games…possessed the highest free throw percentage on the 2012-13 team (.833)...as a rookie averaged 10.3 points per 40 minutes played.

Averaged 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

At Kestrol Heights High School:
Averaged 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists as a senior, after a junior year in which he averaged 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists as a junior led his team to the National Prep Championship. 

At Southeast Raleigh:
Alford was a three-sport lettermen earning Second Team All-State honors as a safety in football while also excelling in baseball.
