Biography

2022-23:
- Became Rider’s all-time leader in career games played, eclipsing Mike Ringgold’s 134 games played to play in 137 games
- Started 13 of 28 games played, missing only the MAAC/ASUN Dublin Challenge due to visa issues
- Averaged 6.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per game
- MAAC All-Academic Team honoree
- Posted one double-double, going for 14 points on 5-of-6 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line to go along with a season-high 11 rebounds in a road win at Manhattan (Feb. 5)
- Scored a career-high-matching 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting and 5-of-7 from the free-throw line to go along with nine rebounds in a road win at Stonehill (Dec. 7)
- Also grabbed double-digit rebounds with 10 boards to go along with eight points and a season-high three blocks in a home win over Fairfield (Feb. 10)
- Scored 15 points on 5-of-7 from the floor and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line in an overtime victory at Fairfield (Jan. 29)

2021-22:
- Started all 31 games played, averaging 8.6 points and 7.0 rebounds (2nd-Team, 7th-MAAC)
- His 56.1 field-goal percentage led the team and was fourth in the MAAC
- Scored in double-figures 14 times and posted three double-doubles
- Scored a season-high 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting and matched his season high with 12 rebounds in a MAAC First Round victory over Manhattan (Mar. 8)
- Added a 12-point, 12-rebound game with two steals in the Broncs’ upset of top-seeded Iona in the MAAC Quarterfinals (Mar. 9)
- Posted his first double-double of the year with 10 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Delaware State (Nov. 14)
- Posted a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds against Siena (Feb. 13)
- Also grabbed 12 rebounds in the season opener at Duquesne (Nov. 9)
- Dished out a season-high four assists in the MAAC Semifinals vs. Monmouth (Mar. 11), matching his career high

2020-21:

- Averaged 7.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, while shooting a team-best 60.6 percent from the floor
- Posted his first-career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds at Niagara on Jan. 9, a day after scoring a career-high 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting, also against the Purple Eagles
- His 2.30 offensive rebounds per game ranked fourth in the MAAC
- Scored in double figures six times
- Started 21 of 23 games played
- MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll recipient

2019-20:
- One of six Broncs to play in all 30 games, all off the bench
- MAAC All-Academic Team honoree
- Scored a season-high eight points on 4-of-5 shooting at Quinnipiac (Jan. 7), also grabbing five rebounds
- Added seven points and five rebounds in a season-high 24 minutes at Manhattan (Jan. 26)
- Grabbed a season-high seven rebounds twice – at Delaware State (Nov. 8) and at Temple (Dec. 21)
- Blocked two shots on three occasions
- Made a pair of steals at Wisconsin (Dec. 31)

2018-19:
- Played in 25 games, including three-straight starts (Dec. 12-17)
- Averaged 2.8 points and 1.6 rebounds, while shooting 55.3 percent (26-47) from the floor
- Scored in double figures twice – 10 points against Norfolk State (Dec. 12) and a season-high 12 points at Fairfield (Jan. 3)
- Made a season-high five field goals on seven attempts at Fairfield
- Grabbed a season-high seven rebounds and blocked a season-high four shots in a season-high 20 minutes against Norfolk State
- Made a pair of steals at VCU (Dec. 30)

Before Rider:
A two-year varsity starter and captain at Monsignor Bonner… Earned First Team All-Catholic twice, as well as First Team All-Delco and Second Team All-State… Guided Monsignor Bonner to the regular season championship… Earned the John Cappelletti Award and the Outstanding Senior Athlete Award.

Personal:
The son of Johnson Owhotemu… A business major with an art minor.
