LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Former Rider University men's soccer standout Momo Diop has announced the signing of his first professional contract, joining One Knoxville SC in the USL League One.

"I'm so happy for Momo as he begins his professional soccer journey. Momo always went about his work like a professional while he was here at Rider." Said Rider men's soccer Head Coach Chad Duernberger. "I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to Coach Momo for two seasons in which he helped us win two MAAC Championships in 2023 and 2024. He certainly goes down in the top group of players I've ever coached. I'm excited to follow him throughout his professional career."

During his three seasons in Lawrenceville from 2022-2024, Diop recorded 34 total points over his 56 career games for the Broncs, scoring 14 goals while notching six assists. Diop played 3,915 minutes for Rider in three seasons while recording a SOG% of 0.488.
